My friend Ben wanted a simple backpack to carry his laptop and Nalgene water bottle in. Materials are 1000D Cordura, bicycle inner tubes, bungee cord, straps and buckles from a hiking backpack, and seatbelt webbing from a restored bus.
Reinforced bottom with bicycle rubber. Honestly, I am really happy with the durability of this combination of materials - it's a bit tricky to work with though. I'm using a mixture of double sided tape and sewing across the seams.
Recycled backpack straps.
Phone specific side holster
Detail of Nalgene specific holster, bicycle tube lip and strap edge. Really proud of how this turned out.
Laptop sleeve inside with additional small pocket
Detail of lip and inner liner. Made using recycled malt bags. I have another project coming up soon, stay tuned.
